Driftwood Lodges reserve the right to change & update this website, including prices, terms & conditions without notice. Driftwood Lodges also reserves the right to refuse entry to the site or instruct guests to leave for any reason… (For example due to inappropriate, violent or aggressive behaviour, dangerous weather or site conditions).

Use of the Driftwood Lodges website constitutes acceptance of the company’s terms and conditions. We will always ask you to read the terms and conditions before confirming your stay and by placing a deposit you confirm that you have done so.

Privacy
Your contact and personal details may be kept by us for future mailings and news. You may opt out of receiving emails at anytime by contacting us.

We will not pass on or sell your details to any third parties.

Bookings over 18 years
Driftwood Lodges handles bookings from persons over 18 years of age. We reserve the right, without giving reasons, to refuse a booking. If booking all three lodges please contact Driftwood lodges prior to booking.

To secure your booking a deposit of £50 must be made and remaining balance paid in full 14 days prior to arrival. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after deposit is paid and full payment has been received. You will receive payment reminders when remaining balance is due. If the balance has not been made 14 days before arrival, your book may be cancelled and no deposit refund will be given. Deposits are non refundable.

The person booking, where they are booking on behalf of other people, is responsible for disseminating the appropriate information to those persons that we send them. For example, these Terms and Conditions, directions, and to ensure all members of the party are fully aware of the fishing rules, the facilities, the grounds and the service we offer.

Security Deposit
Please note on arrival we will need to take a security deposit from your card of £200. This is for any non accidental damage. It will show as pending for 10 days.
Without this you will not be allowed to stay.
 
Damages / Breakages / Cleaning
For damages or breakages: Guests are advised to check the lodge/s for any damages or breakages found at the beginning of their stay and to inform Driftwood Lodges of any that they find. Please let us know if anything gets broken so we can replace it for our next guests. We will only charge for replacements in exceptional circumstances, as we expect a degree of wear and tear. 

For extra cleaning: Guests are reminded that they must leave the property in the same condition as when they arrived, remove all food items and personal belongings and follow Driftwood Lodges instructions about where to place rubbish etc. and return any moved inventory items to each accommodation unit or they may be liable for extra cleaning costs. If the accommodation unit is not left in an acceptable condition and Driftwood Lodges has to carry out extra cleaning above and beyond what they would normally expect this will be charged at £15 per individual staff hour. Driftwood Lodges reserves the right to deduct this payment from your security deposit or invoice guests following their stay.
 
Accommodation
In Lodge facilities: Log Burner (logs supplied), Tea trolley with a kettle and toaster, selection of teas, fresh coffee bags. Small fridge to keep your wine and beers cold. There will be milk and bottled water in your fridge on your arrival. Bluetooth speaker that connects to your phone. Towels and a selection of toiletries. Outside your own barbecue table chairs to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Small breakfast basket included in the price containing fresh orange juice croissants with jam yogurt and porridge. This is delivered to your porch by 7am and left for you to enjoy at your leisure. Outdoor cinema weather permitting (showing classics Grease, Ghost, Dirty Dancing). Large indoor fire pit Lodge to sit and enjoy with friends logs not supplied. Bluetooth speaker and a selection of board games will keep you entertained. There is no Wi-Fi in any of the lodges the only connection is each other.

Communal outside kitchen including pizza oven barbecue this will be undercover so can be used all year round.

Prices
The prices on the Driftwood Lodges website are not binding and Driftwood Lodges reserve the right to modify these prices. The price stated on the booking confirmation letter / email (sent after automated booking summary) is binding. Special offers and/or discounts cannot be used after you have booked your stay.
 
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation more than 10 weeks before the commencement of the stay a refund will be given. *

In the event of a cancellation more than 28 days before the commencement of the stay but less than 10 weeks before, 30% of the rental amount will be payable. *

In the event of cancellation less than 28 days before the start of the stay, the full booking amount will be payable. If your stay is terminated early, the entire booking amount is payable.

*Please note Deposits are non refundable.

Any cancellation or change must be confirmed by email, by the person who made the booking.
We strongly advise visitors to take out full holiday insurance to cover cancellations, public liability, personal belongings, loss etc. In the event that we need to cancel your holiday we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all money paid to us, by you, within 14 days.

Fishing Lake
Rules for Fishing Lake
No keep nets to be used all fish must be put straight back into the lake. Landing nets must be used.
Only barbless hooks to be used.
No fishing tackle to be kept in the lodges at anytime.
We do not allow bread to be used for bait.
No fishing in feeding area of the lake, area will be be highlighted to you. This is due to when the lake is not being fished we can feed them. Please be a sports man.
Fishing only allowed between the hours of 8am and 6pm due to other guest privacy.
Please do not fish outside other guests lodges. Only outside your lodge.
Beware that the lake is deep in parts. Do not go in the lake at any time.
The boat is for show and is not to be used under any circumstance.
Fishing tackle to be kept in your vehicle on the night not inside or outside your lodge.
We do not except any liability for you our tackle.
Breaching any of the fishing lake rules may result in losing your security deposit.

Liability
Driftwood Lodges accept no liability for:
i. theft, loss or damage, of whatever nature, during or as a result of a stay at Driftwood Lodges.
ii. any defect or out of action equipment and loss or closure of supplies at Driftwood Lodges.
Guests are responsible for any losses and/or damage which occurs as a direct or an indirect consequence of their stay, irrespective of whether any losses and/or damages are caused by themselves or by third parties who are at Driftwood Lodges.

If you leave your lodge in an inappropriate condition, additional costs can be charged to you.

Vehicles are parked at their owners’ and drivers’ risk and Driftwood Lodges cannot accept responsibility for any damage or theft occurring to vehicles. If a vehicle is left in the car park without the consent of Driftwood Lodges, we reserve the right to remove the vehicle at the owner’s expense.
 
Complaints Procedure
We take great care to ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay here at Driftwood Lodges however if you have a complaint during your stay please contact the site manager as soon as possible and we will do our best to resolve any issues to make your stay more enjoyable. Please note, complaints made after your stay are not always easy to be investigated and therefore are most difficult to resolve. Bringing any issues to our attention during your stay allows us to get any issues or problems resolved as quickly as possible and lessen any adverse impact on your stay.
